Every wedding and event is special in its own way. It’s important for me to get to know a little bit about your day and your vision. Let’s make sure our partnership is a good fit!
What should I expect?
I am not a wedding photographer, but a photographer that enjoys weddings. My goal is to grab the emotions and feelings of the day, no matter how they play out. I will certainly capture posed photos and fill any requests, but my main focus will be from a documentary point of view. Do not expect to receive flawless, airbrushed images with that Barbara Walters glow. I like ‘em moody and real.
What’s up with the tiny camera?
A powerful, compact street camera is the perfect little companion for my approach to photography. It allows me to capture those fleeting facial expressions, chase after children, and quickly sneak in and out of moments undetected. The result is an intimate, sometimes gritty, documentary of your special day, with a focus on finding the beauty in between.
How much is the cost?
Packages 3 hours and over start at $500. Because everyone’s day is so different, I do not have blanket prices. Wedding and event charges are based on how long I am actively capturing photos, travel (any travel over 30 miles from Cincinnati may be subject to travel fees), scope and needs of the event, and edit time. I am more than happy to work within a budget and I have no problem coming up with a payment plan if needed.
Where do we start?
After a little ‘how you doin’ emailing, I’ll ask you some questions about your event to get to the bottom of what you’re looking for and make sure we’re a good match. I will either draw up an estimate or offer packages to choose from. When a plan and price is agreed upon, we’ll do a little bit of paperwork and a non-refundable deposit to hold your day will be required. The rest of the payment will be due upon completion of the event before I head out. Fresh, high-resolution and social media sized images will be delivered to you through a secure, online gallery. I typically require 2-3 weeks turnaround time, but I may throw some sneak peeks at you out of sheer excitement.
